Well, there are so many pictures there that I cannot post them all on this site!  That’s why a couple of times per months I will only post the three pictures that got the most facebook likes by the SAR community.

SAR reader Mark linked me to that great Sony site: http://discover.store.sony.com/be-moved/ It shows you some famous Sony product constructions displayed in a nice interactive way. Now the weird thing is that Sony added a piece of cheese on the Sony RX1. Is it a marketing gag or what?

9to5mac spotted that Adobe Lightroom mobile version on Adobe’s website. The reference has now been now by Adobe but the screenshots proves that it was there. Well, I guess the future of photo editing is on tablets rather than on “classic” computers/laptops…

Dc.watch (translation here) spotted that A7R and Zeiss Macro 50mm f/2.8 combo at the Zeiss stand in Las Vegas. The Zeiss Macro will be launched on February 27 (Source: BHphoto). And as you likely already know it is an APS-C mount lens. More Full Frame Zeiss lenses for the FE system will be launched later on. And five manualsZeiss FE lenses will be shown at Photokina in September.

Two great news reported by Imaging Resource. They had a talk with Sigma and this is what they learned:

1) It’s confirmed: “Sony Alpha mount version of this lens will be available.”

2) “But the most impressive information we gleaned? When discussing their goals of image quality and sharpness for the lens, Sigma mentioned they’re confident they’ll surpass competitive products from Canon and Nikon and are instead gunning for Zeiss’s new 55mm Otus lens. It’s a serious claim. The Zeiss 55mm f/1.4 Otus lens — with its $4000 price tag.”

The lens price still hasn’t been set but the previous model was priced at $399 (here at BHphoto). I think this one will cost more like the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART lens ($899 at BHphoto). Have to say Sigma is doing an incredible job with their new ART lenses.
