So far trusted sources told me no photo camera (A or E-mount) should come at CES. The big focus will be at CP+. But I got multiple reports that Sony will announce new camcorders and also something else:

“4K ActionCams coming to CES. Very sure of this.  I saw the content go up in the booth…”

You may think this is not an interesting news but did you know the most sold cameras worldwide are not DSLR, not mirrorless, not compacts…but actioncameras? Just check the Amazon digital camera sales ranking (Click here). This will be a big news for Sony. The rumor also got confirmed via ActionCameraRumors.

And Sony launched also a countdown for the live streaming that you can follow on Ustream or directly here on SAR (I will embed the video). The event starts at 5pm Las Vegas time (January 5th). This is…

8pm New York time
01.00 London time (January 6)
02:00 Berlin time (January 6)
10:00 Tokyo time (January 6)

And do not forget that there will be a big A and E-mount announcement in just one month right before the CP+ show that starts on February 12th. Stay tuned!
