I just came back from my first shooting trip to Venice with my new A7S. What can I say, the 12MP-sensor really is great for night time photography. Usually I don’t feel comfortable using ISO 1’600 on full frame but this is ISO 16’000 (that’s three zeros). The camera was handheld with OSS activated. Of course there’s heavy noise but compare ISO 16’000 with any other sensor!
