Joe Gunawan | fotosiamo.com for SLRLounge.com

Joe Gunawan: “The image is part of an article that I will be writing up soon in regards to my experience shooting studio shoots with the the Sony a7R and adapted lenses. I have shot with the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L II attached to the Metabones Smart Adapter III, as well as the vintage and superb Olympus OM 180mm f/2.0 with the a7R. Both lenses were sharp, but the Canon has the advantage of AF, even though it was a bit slow at 1-1.5 second focus speed. Even on the a7 it is slow, which makes me wonder if the Metabones Adapter does not activate the Phase Detect AF and only uses the contrast AF on the a7.

Ren Murray: a77 with Sony 16-50 f2.8 — mit LuLu Sparks.

John De Bord Photography: Mule Deer buck photographed at Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge just before sunrise. To get the shot, I used a Sony a65, Minolta 70-210 f4 “beercan” and a Puffin Pad for stability.
