[/shoplink] Watch out guys! Amazon is deleting your 50mm NEX lens preorders and they could do the same with your NEX-7 preorders!
This is the message from Amazon:
“Due to a lack of availability from our suppliers, we will not be able to obtain the following item(s) from your order: Sony 50mm f/1.8 Telephoto Lens for Sony E Mount Nex Cameras
We’ve canceled the item(s) and apologize for the inconvenience. We must also apologize for the length of time it has taken us to reach this conclusion.”

I suggest you to preorder the lens in other stores like Adorama (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). I know they will NOT send you messages like that and keep your preorders. The only place where you find the lens right now is Amazon Japan (6-10 days).
What worries me is that you might lose your NEX-7 preorder too! I have been told the body only will be in shipped to USA in February while the kit version will ship in March. If you preordered the camera at Amazon I highly recommend you to make a new order at Adorama (Click here) , Bhphoto (Click here) or Sonystore (Click here) too!
