The night sky over the midwest with modern wind turbines in the foreground. I do find it ironic that the wind turbines are being used to generate electricity, and elctricity is being used to create light pollution.
Note to other photographers: The road you see going back to the wind farm is private property. While it’s tempting to drive back there to find a better angle you will be trespassing and could end up with more problems than pictures. I rely on Google Maps “Satellite View” to find locations along public roads where I can get a good view of the turbines.
Sony a7RII, Rokinon 14mm lens, SkyWatcher tracking mount. Sky – 7 frames 30 seconds, f/2.8 at ISO 1600 stacked to reduce noise, Foreground – 30 seconds at f/2.8 with light added from an LED flashlight. Processed in Capture One, Photoshop and Lightroom.
