Back in May Amazon made the mistake to let you preroder the new 16-35mm GM lens for $1,698 only instead of the real $2,198 price. Plenty of SAR readers preordered the lens for that price but there was some concern that Amazon would “correct” the price once it ships. Well I have good news for you:

The new lens is now shipping out at Bhphoto, Adorama, BestBuy and Amazon. In EU the lens is already in Stock since a while at Amazon DE, Amazon UK, Calumet DE, WexUK, Jessops.
